2018 was an exciting and rewarding year for the Ian Potter Museum of Art, with the Museum’s innovative and unique programming building increasing recognition in the hearts and minds of its audiences on campus and beyond.
The Potter continued its deep commitment to and support of artists, including over 130 artists in the program in major surveys and thematic exhibitions, and through active participation in the Museum’s extensive Public Programs.
The possibilities and unique contribution of the Potter as a university art museum, and our important role in teaching and learning, remains central to everything we do – informing our significant work within the University in curriculum engagement and Object Based Learning, and our broader desire to encourage lifelong learning, play, and a sense of experimentation across all of our endeavours.
