Talking Art Library

The Talking Art Library takes its inspiration from the work of French philosopher and art critic Denis Diderot (1713–84), who made extensive notes on the Paris Salon of 1765, writing a short description of all the paintings he observed. The Talking Art Library is designed to provide access for blind and vision-impaired students and visitors to the art, classics and archaeology collections through a series of descriptive podcasts.

Talking Art Library was supported a Learning and Teaching Initiatives Grant 2016
