This exhibition showcases the University of Melbourne Art Collection and presents a selection of work related to artists’ use of motifs and iconography from the past.

The exhibition includes southern Italian vases and pots from the Classics and Archaeology Collection, nineteenth-century life drawings by William Strutt, a mid-twentieth century work by Sidney Nolan, and a broad selection of contemporary art by Australian artists.
