This work by Henry Talbot, commissioned by the the Australian Wool Board, is a wonderful example of innovative Australian fashion photography in the 1960s. Talbot has taken the model out of the studio and on location, in Hay in regional New South Wales. Although it is intended as a fashion photo about the outfit the model is wearing, it shows so much more. Dr Kyla McFarlane explains…
