Perhaps more than ever, we’re being shown that the arts make a vital and meaningful contribution to what it means to be human. With this in mind, we are determined to continue to share our work with you as part of our strong and heartfelt belief that the arts matter and make a difference.
Staying at home? The Potter team is busy finding ways to bring our treasures to you during these strange and challenging times. In response to the restrictions of both our closure and the COVID-19 situation, we’re moving our Inside Out program from the real world to the virtual world.
Here’s a little bit about what you can expect from us in coming months:
Our popular Up from the Vaults lecture series is been delivered as video content, accessed via our website and social channels; and we are in the process of repurposing projects by the exciting group of artists who were engaged for our forward program, so that you can experience their work from the comfort of your home (coming soon).
Our regular posts on the Collection will continue on our Instagram page (follow us here), while our Into Your Collection video series will now make its way to you fortnightly.
As always, you’ll find a wealth of material to explore here on our website. During this period of social distancing we’ll continue to find new ways to share the museum’s activities and collection with you, so watch this space as we continue to change the way we work and collaborate and come together online.
