The Vizard Foundation Art Collection of the 1990s

 

The Vizard Foundation Art Collection of the 1990s aims to provide support for Australian artists through the acquisition, display and educational promotion of their work. The collection addresses key theoretical issues in contemporary art, such as the relation of art to mass culture, technology, national identity and gender, with works that epitomise the creative direction and philosophical concerns of the 1990s. The collection is managed by the Ian Potter Museum of Art on behalf of the Vizard Foundation.
