THE GRIMWADE COLLECTION MIEGUNYAH STUDENT PROJECT AWARD 2023
Submission date: 7 August 2023
The Museums and Collections department is offering six competitive Awards of $2000 each to University of Melbourne students across all disciplines, for small research projects focused on works of art in The Russell and Mab Grimwade ‘Miegunyah’ Collection.
The Grimwade Collection Miegunyah Student Project Award scheme gives students experience in working in an interdisciplinary context with a significant and extensive material and visual culture collection, and the opportunity to think about how to share their research with student colleagues and public audiences, while gaining professional development experience from Department staff.
Applications are now open for University of Melbourne students at any level, currently enrolled at least until the end of October 2023. Projects will be undertaken during semester two and presented in December.
Awardees are supported by Museums and Collections staff to realise their projects, including the Grimwade Collection Curator.
